It is my sad duty to report the passing of Les Jordan on Saturday 21st June 2014. Les was a former President,Life Member and long serving committeeman of theVictoria Division of the Fleet Air Arm Association. Les served in the RAN from July 1948 until December 1965 and paid off as a CPO (AH). He served on HMAS Cerberus,Albatross,Sydney,Vengeance,Melbourne,Lonsdale and Watson. He was a valued member of the Korean Veterans Association. Several years ago Les was officially recognised as a “Legend” by Flying Stations the Journal of the Australian Navy Aircraft Handlers. Les had been unwell for some time and our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
