The Tasmanian Division is sad to announce the passing of Bill Lowe on the 26 August 2014, after a long illness.
Bill joined the R.A.N. in 1945 serving for a period aboard H.M.A.S Hobart and in 1948 volunteered to join the newly formed Fleet Air Arm. He was one of the original aircraft handlers who trained with 69 others in the UK. His serviced continued until 1958.
