We have just received (on 4 October 2022) advice of the passing of Robert “Bob” Gilmour, late of WA Division (W2044).
Bob was a member of the RAN Helicopter Flight-Vietnam 4th Contingent in the rank of PO Airman Aircraft Handler, between September 1970 to June 1971. He was Mentioned in Dispatches for “co-ordination between the various sections of the (Helicopter) Company and with the Battalion Operations Centre to ensure efficient preparation and support for the Company’s missions.”
Bob’s funeral was conducted in Rockingham on 7th October 2022. May he Rest In Peace.
