CPOATC George Loveday passed away on Saturday morning after a massive stroke suffered on 06JUN14
George commenced his Naval Service on the 26th November 1956 and retired in 1986 having completed over 29yrs of service.
He served in HMAS Melbourne,(Numerous times) 816 Squadron 817 Squadron,725 Squadron, plus various workshops within the Air Station. He also served in the following establishments: HMAS Cerberus, HMAS Albatross, and HMAS Nirimba. On his retirement George worked for a number of years at the Jervis Bay Range Facility (JBRF) servicing the Ground Control System for the JINDIVICK Target Aircraft.
His Funeral took place at the Nowra Crematorium Chapel on Thursday 19th June 2014.
