Advice has been received on 12 February 2018 of the death of Bernard “Jingles” Matthews R52786, who was a member of Handlers Class 6 (11Nov57) in the RAN. Regrettably no details are available at this stage, but they will be added when known.
I was most pleased to say he was a good mate and the last time I saw him was when Jingles, his wife June and son attended John Ward’s funeral. He was determined to be there having traveled up from Canberra.
I was sad to hear that he has passed away and from all ex-handlers I extend our sympathy to June and family for their sad loss. Rest in peace old mate.
