Fred Mellish (R94250), joined the RAN on 7 January 1964 as part of the 8th Intake JRTE, and retired in 1976.
He joined the Queensland Ambulance Service (then the Queensland Ambulance Transport Brigade) on 25 July 1976, and had worked at Caboolture, Nambour and Buderim stations.
He became officer in charge of Buderim station in 1984 and remained in this position until he passed away in September 2010.
