Ex-Leading Airman Aircraft Handler John “Gladys” “Monty” Moncrieff crossed the bar on 7 October 2006, in Mt. Olivet Hospital, Brisbane.
He was in Class 2 Handlers which commenced on 15 Feb 1949. Class one and two commenced together as handlers were required for the Sydney on her arrival in Australia.
His funeral service was held on 12 October 2006 in the Chapel of Lohrich Funeral Directors, Beenleigh – Joe Linaker.
